The friendly nursing staff of the Farm Coop's Dairy Division welcome you to version 1.17!
As you'd expect, the majority of work this month focused on hucows, and there's a lot of new stuff to see and experience. A lot of it is behind-the-scenes mechanics type stuff that you'll only notice as a small bit of text or things behaving differently, but we've also got a lot of new content and the brand-new Transformative System.
The Transformative System is something I've been planning primarily for the Transformatives Expansion option as a way to better handle longer-term effects and major changes to the player's character. It reveals information about changes in a more systematic and detailed way, rather than depending on the player to notice any changes that aren't explicitly described themselves. The reason I went ahead and built it now is because the hucow changes are so significant, they'd benefit from a proper transformation process. It made more sense to do it now, than have to come back later and redo a temporary solution.
You can now live in your dorm as a hucow, and experience more content and locations in the map areas. While the job itself isn't complete, there's some new events involving your second day as a hucow (quite large) and follow on events for your "pre-treatment" period where Doc Mya prepares you to undergo the real Treatment. The real Treatment is fully implemented as well in the transformation system. I think it's pretty cool.
I also redid bovinex as a transformative, in case you want to see the system without actually playing as a hucow. We've got a new body-writing restaurant, and there's just been a ton of mechanics stuff tweaked, adjusted, or expanded for the glory of hucows.
I'm actually running mostly on blessed caffeine right now due to lack of sleep, so I'm having a hard time remembering everything we did. Luckily I've got pages and pages of git commits to jog my memory for the actual change log. I think you'll like this release!

- The Buzzword bar has been added to East Downtown.

- Transformatives are managed centrally with supporting functions, with object-based format for easy addition of new transformatives.

- Transformatives are split into three main parts. An active effect, nightly effects, and permanent effects.
- Active effects are checked during the standard time status process every 15 game minutes, and are meant to do things like maintain a minimum arousal or other ongoing effects that couldn't easily be done before.
