So this has been quite the month.I realized I had been falling into some old bad habits and was working too hard/long again. The issue with being a workaholic is that you can't just give up working like you would give up a substance. You have to keep doing it to live, so you're constantly exposing yourself to temptation. I realized that I had a bit of a relapse when I took a vacation from my day job, and ended up working even more than I had been. Luckily my health hadn't suffered too much, but I'm reminded of the quote "The only people who will remember that you worked late are your children."
So I forced myself into a little bit of a break to destress and try and reset my habits to something healthy. I basically limited myself to working in the evenings after my youngest was in bed. It did help me recover a bit, but really not as much as I should have. I did get to spend more time with the kiddos though.
The main impact of all this for the game is that because I somehow got it into my head that "with all this extra time to work on the game, I can do X on top of the hucow stuff planned for the release!" but when I scaled back, I found that the work I did on X displaced some of the hucow work. There's still a lot of stuff, but not as much as I had originally planned. I also didn't make any time to do extra incremental releases, so many bug fixes on the 1.17 branch are now only showing up in this release. I'm sorry about that.
That being said, "X" is pretty good stuff. A major project to overhaul how game data is saved, by building functions that take specific data items like an NPC, or clothing item, and convert the data into something that is size-friendly. And another set of functions that converts it back into something usable when a save is loaded. So now game saves are a third the size, and we have more save slots again. The fun bit is that saving and loading ends up being slightly faster, because of the reduced overhead for compression. I also had to build in some things that would allow older saves from previous game versions to be loaded into the new game, cause losing those older saves would suck.
Another thing that I did as part of "X" was some improvements to the game's UI. Finally got rid of the silly phone interface, and now the UI is more unified and looks nicer. Lots of tweaks and improvements there, from the portrait images to font sizing, and even making things a little friendlier to smaller screens. I also replaced the game's title image with something nicer (the original photoshop never seemed quite right to me), and redid the tutorial image sequence with way less words, fewer slides, and to-the-point images that show up-to-date info. Also, several smaller things to improve gameplay.
As far as Hucow stuff goes, we have the full transformation sequence to juvenile hucow along with a lot of balancing/improvement to how that works, more background mechanics, hucow estrus (heat), more content, and other stuffs. Let's get to the change log!

Known Issues
It hurts to have to include this, rather than having all the known issues fixed, but Besty dropped the ball a bit on the Besty Bugs assigned to him this month, and I was only able to squish so many before needing to do the release. None of these seem to be new, or particularly impactful. We'll get em' in the next incremental.
- Mod dresses created in Tight Threads allows for an incorrect value entry that causes it to be listed in "Tops" instead of "Dresses".
- There seems to be a bug when multiple attempts are made to pick up an NPC via "NPC Interaction" in a single day. It appears to be an issue with data not being properly reset/reinitialized.
- Can show up as red errors, issues with getting phone number (or retrying to get phone number) and rarely some other minor issues.
- There are some issues with incorrect filenames on AI portrait images, causing certain ranges of female NPCs to use svg portraits instead, or have incorrect features. This one isn't Besty's fault, it'll just take some grunt work to fix the automated filenames.
