Writing Contests

Can you write words in coherent sentences?
Do you like sex?
If you answered yes to those questions, congratulations! The glamorous* world of the erotica writer awaits!

To make the best game possible, we'd like to encourage or fans to submit their own content for inclusion in Accidental Woman. In fact, the game has been designed around the idea of adding fan content. Everything from the code to the world setting has been thought out to make having a large assortment of submitted content possible. Writers and creators who submit content will all get places in the credits, of course, as well as getting to see their content in the game. Everyone knows that makes you a super-cool awesome person that everyone will love*.

Of course, there will always be modding as well, if you want to avoid the whole "submitting stuff" process.

It's hard to be the first person to do something, and until that ero-community of erotica writers forms around what crazy new hi-jinks to put into the game, it's especially important to encourage submissions. To that end, we're going to do a series of writing contests complete with prizes. Writing contests will probably never go away entirely, but they'll probably become larger events with larger prizes in the future. :D

Current Contest:

The holiday inaugural writing contest!

Deadline: Submissions must be made by 23:59 UTC on January 15th 2019.

Topic: Events at Work
Write a single event, or event chain, that occurs at one of the game's current job locations. For an example, see the Chinese incursion event that occurs in the Institute Services job. The event can be lusty, sexual, amusing, or whatever kind of situation you find interesting that would occur at work. Interactive events are preferred (events with choices). Submissions can be one-off events that occur only once, recurring events, or even event chains.

Length: minimum of 500 words.

Prizes:
Winner: $50 prize, simple art inspired by your writing.
Runner Up: $25 prize.
Both will be mentioned in the credits (of course), will receive a special discord role, and will receive the elite build for the version of the game that first includes their writing.

It's hard to figure out a good distribution of prizes without any prior history... If there are only a couple entries, we may only give out a single prize, or we may give them all out. Basically, there has to be a submission good enough to win the prize!

Results: Will be announced by February 1st

The writing does not have to be in twee. Using [brackets] (color coding is awesome too) to explain what you want is plenty sufficient. You don't need to code... just write :D

*not really
