It's time for the weekly update on AW development. We've been working on the relationship expansion as planned, as well as ironing out a few bugs here and there. We're starting out with the ability to have home dates and visit friends and lovers at their homes. Besty confirms that you can currently serve food you've cooked to your lover. Next, we'll be moving on to more aspects of relationships such as cheating. (Check out the previous post for more info on the relationship expansion and plans for v34.)
Unfortunately, there isn't much to actually show you with all this yet (outside of code or strings of text). We do have a couple items of good news though! First is that we think we have finally found the cause of the autosave issues, so they should be fixed for the v34 release. The second is that we are supposed to have art delivered (finally) by Ganassa for the title screen. We've also made some changes to the appearance of the title screen to give it a more polished and professional look.
The background image here is, for now, a placeholder. Basically, in case Ganassa doesn't deliver or if the art doesn't turn out as expected. As you may know, we haven't had the best luck with artists in the past. This is a one time commission though, so I do have a certain amount of hope. :D
